An addictive indie-pop bash that you can't stop playing, from one of England's most promising band.
Leading with 80's retro undertones and funky synthetics, the band delve into the theme of relationships with a glistening new single 'Brakes On'. Taking influences of Wham and Dua Lipa, the three-piece band brings an irresistible soundscape of flashy guitar strings and fast pace pop beats that emphasise the heart of the story of the fears of a relationship developing.
Speaking of the track, frontman Max Kendall said: "The first verse sees us enjoying a casual fling, until the chorus storms in like the fear of commitment itself. This is one of our favourite tracks to date actually, and in some ways, it feels like a coming of age song. We’ve always wanted to write the music we love and grew up listening to, and that’s always been the bottom line. In ‘Brakes On’ you’ll find everything from Madonna to George Michael, and Friendly Fire to Metronomy - it’s a real celebration of everything we’re about."
